Abstract
A Meta-Analysis of the Association between the Q141K ABCG2 Gene Variant and Gout Risk Gout is an inflammatory disease and genetic factors play a role in gout. ABCG2 is a urate transporter, and an association has been reported between the Q141K variant of ABCG2 and gout risk. Previous studies have demonstrated inconsistent results regarding this association. Therefore, we conducted a metaanalysis to explore the relationship between this variant and gout.
