Abstract
The alcoholicand aqueous extract of stem of casearia esculenta was screened for anti diabetic activity in alloxon induced diabeties in albino rats at the dose level of 200mg/kg and compared to the standard drug glibenclamide.The result were found to be significant (PË‚0.01)when compared to control.
