Antimicrobial activity of different solvent extracts of the leaves and stem of Mappia foetida

Abstract

Successive petroleumether, chloroformand methanol extracts ofMappia foetida leaves and stemwere tested (in vitro) for their antimicrobial activity. The stem extracts are more active and the chloroform extracts show a higher degree of inhibition.
