Abstract

We report the binding properties of four amido derivatives of p-tetraphenyl tetrahomodioxacalix[4]arene towards alkali and alkaline-earthmetal cations using UV-absorption spectrophotometry, 1H NMR and ESI-Mass spectrometry techniques.
