Comparative Acoustic Studies of Some Thiosemicarbazide and Thiaoxadizine at Different Composition

Abstract

The experimental data of ultrasonic velocity, density, viscosity has been obtained for some thiosemicarbazide and thiaoxadizenes at different temperature in 70% and 75% DMF over the conc. range of (0.002 to 0.01) mol Kg-1. The derived parameters such as apparent molar volume of solute (Фv), limiting apparent molar volume of solute (Ф0v), limiting apparent molar expansivity (Ф0E), thermal expansion coefficient (α*) and Jones-Dole viscosity coefficient were obtained using the density and viscosity results. The variations of these properties with concentration give the information about solute-solvent interactions.
