Abstract
Two new, easy-to-perform, and reliable methods for regioselective preparation of anilines and â-dibrominated acetamides are reported. The key transformation involves the cleavage of C-C or C-N bond under the promotion of Cu(I) salts which is significantly expands the application scope of Cu(I) salts in chemical synthesis. A variety of cetoactanilide compounds were involved in the reactions, and a wide range of corresponding expected products were obtained in moderate to good yields.
