Abstract
The time course of specific growth rate (ïÂÂÂ(t)) is essential in analyzing microbial growth characteristics and the relationships between growth and metabolites production. The conventional method for calculation of ïÂÂÂ(t) is done by hand and has relatively large errors, which deters its applications. In this paper, a newmethod for calculation ofïÂÂÂ(t) is developed using growthmathematicalmodel and genetic algorithmformodel parameter optimization. Thismethod is practical and efficient.
