Electronic Spectral Parameters of Doped ER+3 ion with Some Acidic Ligands in Alcoholic Medium at Different pH Values

Abstract

Absorption spectra of alcoholic solution of the Er+3 ion with saturated acidic ligands, viz, NA, SA, S'A, IAA and IBA have been recorded and the various parameters, viz, Judd–Ofelt parameter (T), Slater–Condon (FK), Lande's (4f), Racah's (EK), oscillator strength (P), nephelauxetic ratio and bonding parameter (b1/2) have been studied.
