Abstract
APVCselective electrode for Cetyltrimethylammoniumion(CTAB)was prepared. The electroactive species was an ion association complex of CTAB with ammoniumreineckate(RK). The suggested electrode exhibited a rapid and near-Nernstian response within the concentration range from1 × 10-6 to 1 × 10-2MCTABwith good selectivity. Itwas stable within awide PH range of 4-8. Selectivity coefficients for numerous compounds were given. The analytical applicability of the proposed method was demonstrated by the determination of CTAB in some industrial waste water samples.
