Abstract

In the present study protective effect of coldeniaprocumbens hydroalcoholic extract on acetaminophen induced hepatotoxicity on albino wistar ratswas evaluated. Acetaminophen at the dose of 750mg/kgproduce hepatotoxicity as manifested by the significant rise of Serum glutamate pyruvate transaminase (SGPT), serum glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (SGOT)and ALP activities were significantly (p < 0.05) elevated in the acetaminophen alone treated animals and decrease in total proteins levels.
