Abstract
Salicylic acid was mixed with hexahydroxycyclotriphosphazene, [NP(OH)2]3 in presence of conc. H2SO4 in alcohol and refluxed for 6 h. The product, obtained, was analyzed, quantitatively, as well as, mass and I. R. spectrometrically and formulated as P3N3[(CO)3O6(C6H4)3] on the basis of chemical data.
