Abstract

One pot three-component Biginelli reaction of aromatic aldehyde, –.keto amide and urea/thiourea has been carried out under microwave irradiation and by conventional method. All the prepared compounds were characterized by their spectral (IR, NMR, Mass) data and screened for their antimicrobial activity.
