Abstract
Three new unsymmetrical porphyrins bearing meso-functionlization have been synthesized and characterized. The structural assignment of these porphyrins was based on UV-visible, IR, 1H NMR, mass, spectra and elemental analysis. The Present communication deals with new methodology for the synthesis of porphyrins, which is different from the general synthetic procedure developed by Adler.
