One pot and efficient pseudo four-component synthesis of 2,4,6-triarylpyridines under solvent-free condition

Abstract

This work described an efficient synthesis of 2,4,6-triarylpyridines. This reaction carried out via pseudo four-component reaction between benzylalcohol derivatives, acetophenon and ammonium acetate under conventional heating at 150 oC and solvent free conditions.
