Abstract
ASeries of 2-(Phenoxymethyl)-1-phenyl-1H-benzo(d)imidazole,with different substituent’s at the phenoxymethyl ring have been synthesized in good yields by the condensation of N1-phenylbenzene-1,2-diaminedihydrochloride and substituted henoxyacetic acids in presence of water as solvent under reflux condition. All the synthesized compounds were evaluated for their bioactivity studies like antioxidants, antibacterial, antifungal.
