Abstract

An efficient and convenient conversion of trimethylsilyl (TMS) and tetrahydropyranyl (THP) ethers, acetals and ketals to the corresponding carbonyl compoundswith N,NÂ’-dibenzyl-1,4-diazoniabicyclo [2.2.2] octane peroxodisulfate (DBDABCOPDS) under non-aqueous conditions is described.
