Abstract

A fast and efficient method is introduced for the protection of various alcohols with carboxylic acids undermicrowave irradiation in the presence of Keggin-type H5PM10V2O40, M=W, Mo.Water is the only by-product of this green protocol and the catalytic system was inefficient in the absence of heteropoly acid catalyst.
