Abstract

Synthesis of 1,8-Naphthyridine derivatives via Friedländer condensation method from2-amino-Pyridine-3-Carboxaldehyde in the presence of a catalytic amount of silica sulfuric acid (SSA) under solvent-free condition and microwave irradiation was described.Agood range of simple ketones such as ethylacetoacetate and acetophenones.
