Abstract
An easy operational protocol, for the synthesis of β-aminocarbonyl compounds using silica-supported Antimony (III) Chloride (SiO2-OSbCl2) as catalyst, has been developed. The use of (SiO2-OSbCl2) as an inexpensive, highly active, and easy to prepare and handle as a recyclable heterogeneous catalyst, makes this method an environmentally acceptable synthetic tool for Mannich reaction.
