Superconductivity in high- TC cuprates using infinite U extended Hubbard model

Abstract

In the present investigation the expressions of the superconducting order parameter and carrierdensityusingextendedHubbardmodelunderU  limitwithin the framework ofHubbard projection operator andortho-fermions formalismhavebeenderived. The present studyshows that the next-nearest-neighbor hoppingandinter-site interaction playanimportant role thesemateriinthesuperconductingstateofhigh- Tc cuprates inwhich, there exists strong electronic correlations and virtually Ulimit is justified
