Abstract
Some new N-(4-oxo-2-alkyl/aryl-thiazolidine-3-yl) isonicotinamide derivatives of isoniazid have been synthesized and evaluated for their Anti-bacterial, Antifungal and Anti-tubercular activity. Synthesized compounds showed significant activity against bacterial, fungal and mycobacterium strains. Their structures were established on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and Mass Spectral data.
