Abstract

1-(H) 3-N-{4'-[(4'''-Chlorophenyl) (phenyl)methyl amino] phenyl}-5-arylpyrazolines (5a-5l) and 2-amino-6-{4'-[(4'''-chlorophenyl) (phenyl) methyl amino] phenyl}-4-aryl-4H–pyran–3-carbonitriles (6a-6l) have been synthesized. The products have been assayed for their biological activity against Gram +ve, Gram -ve bacteria and fungi. Some of the compounds showed moderate activity in concentration 50 ìg/ml.
