Abstract
Various sulfonamide derivatives on reaction with ethylactoacetate furnished different ethyl-3-oxo-2-(2-(3-(N-alkyl sulfamoyl) phenyl) hydrazono) butanoates (2(a-j)).All the novel synthesised compounds (2(aj)) were characterized by spectral studies. The compounds showed significant antimicrobial activity against various bacteria and fungi
