Abstract
We consider the definition of the kernel function and the effect of a transversely isotropic half- space. Expressions are derived deflections and internal fo rces in an infinite base plate in accordance with their recesses in the mountain range, as well as the influence of anisotropy on the base distribution of deflections and internal forces.
