Abstract

Trialkylammoniumchlorochromates (VI),R3NH[CrO3Cl], (R=CH3,C2H5,C3H7 and C4H9) aremild and efficient reagents for the oxidation of diols in solution and in solution undermicrowave radiation. The easy procedure, simple workup, short reaction times, and excellent yields are advantages of these reagents.
