Ultrasonic Velocity and allied parameters of drug Colimax in aqueous 1-propanol at 298.15K

Abstract

Ultrasonic velocity (U) and density (r) have been measured at 298.15K for drug colimax in binary mixture of 1-propanol(PrOH)+water(H2O). Various acoustical parameters such as acoustical impedance (Z), adiabatic compressibility (b), intermolecular free length (Lf), relative association (R.A.), molar volume (Vm) and molar sound velocity (Rm) have been calculated from ultrasonic velocity & density data. The results have been discussed from the view point of drugsolvent and intermolecular interactions
